Call for Papers

QC&DKM 2026 invites original contributions that advance the theoretical, practical, and experimental understanding of how quantum computing impacts data and knowledge management.

All submissions must be original, not under review elsewhere, and must follow the formatting instructions specified in the next section bellow. Final page limits and camera-ready requirements will align with the VLDB 2026 workshop guidelines and the proceedings venue (if applicable).

Authors should format their papers using the following style file, and ensure that they fill in the correct conference year (VLDB 2026) and the workshop name (QC&DKM 2026 - 2nd Workshop on Quantum Computing and Data/Knowledge Management) in the VLDB Workshop Reference Format of paper: VLDB Workshop Style (zip file)

Review Process

All regular and short paper submissions will undergo a single-blind peer-review process carried out by the Program Committee. Each paper will be reviewed by at least three PC members. Reviews will assess:

Proceedings

Proceedings will be published jointly with other VLDB workshops. Full papers, short papers, and extended abstracts accepted in the research track will be published. Invited speakers are encouraged (but not required) to provide a 2-page extended abstract. An overview paper co-authored by the chairs summarizing key findings will also be included.
